Content Writing Services

Already have a content strategy? I can help you execute it with high-quality, unique, and engaging content that brings value to your audience, teaches them something new, and invites them to learn more.

The Value of High-Quality, Well-Written Content

Why should you value having high-quality, well-written content speak for your brand? Because it:

  • Communicates your ideas clearly and precisely to your audience

  • Tells a story and draws a customer into that story

  • Structures an argument and make the case for why your company’s solution is different

  • Uses fresh, exciting, and unique language to convey topics and ideas

  • Is fun, engaging, and easy to read, and holds your customer’s attention

  • Uses voice, tone, and style to convey your brand and what it stands for

  • Leverages credible data and research to back your arguments

  • Is grammatically correct to further that clarity and precision

  • Speaks directly to the customer, articulates their pain points, and uses industry-specific vocabulary

  • Is professional and communicates knowledge and authority

  • States a clear call to action and next steps for the reader

Ultimately, high-quality, well-written content helps you build awareness about your brand, increase audience trust as they get to know you, educates your audience on your industry and how you can help them, and allows you to build and convert your audience through your own efforts — and not rely on someone else to tell your story.

What I Write

I’ve spent over 20 years honing my craft. Here’s what I can write for you.

Blog Posts and Articles

20 years of blogging includes creating and managing the incoming student blog at Harvard Business School and writing posts for numerous organizations. Also, I wrote over 200 articles in 2023 alone for clients. This is my bread and butter, so get in touch!

Starts at $500 per blog/byline.

Social Media Content

I built Literary Boston through social media alone. I also managed social media for the Boston Book Festival, increasing followers and engagement in just two months. Oh, and I also wrote part of Meta’s Social Media Marketing Professional Certificate course.

Monthly packages start at $500.

Newsletters

Connect with your audience directly in a channel that you own. I can’t guarantee results, but the newsletter I currently manage has an open rate of over 60% each week (that’s good, right?).

Packages start at $1000.

Ghostwriting

The bulk of my freelance writing work has been ghostwritten thought leadership for founders, featured on Newsweek, Fast Company, Forbes, Nasdaq, and a number of industry sites — as well as on LinkedIn.

Starts at $750 per article; social also available.

Whitepapers and Case Studies

Go long with researched ebooks, whitepapers, and case studies that show how you’re solving customer pain points and industry challenges. I’m undaunted by research and long-form, as a recent 30,000 ebook I wrote will tell you.

Starts at $2000.

Your data has a story to tell, too. Industry reports can not only communicate actionable insights, but can help you lead your industry — and I’ve written dozens of them for clients, many of which went on to be covered by the media.

Starts at $2000 per report.

Industries I Write For

I write content for the following industries (but am always open to learning new industries!).

My Process

Step 1. Get to Know Your Needs

Let’s connect to talk about your content writing needs, your pain points, your ideals, and more. Need more SME-driven content? Looking to inject more storytelling? Looking for better structured, more persuasive content? Need a professional writer that turns in high-quality content on time? Let’s talk!

Step 2. Get to Know Your World

Once we decide to work together, I then get to know your world. This includes what your brand does, what you’ve written already, what content you’re proud of and want more of, your brand voice, your editorial and style guide (love me a good style guide!), and more.

Step 3. Get Writing!

If you’re clear on the content you need and are comfortable putting together a brief, simply send it along and I can get started! If you don’t, we can work on developing a brief together. Depending on the content, I’ll likely ask to talk to your SME as well so I can be sure I have all the knowledge I need. I also conduct my own research as I go.

Step 4. Get You a Draft

What you’ll receive:

  • High-quality, well-written, all-original work

  • Content supported with relevant data from reliable industry sources

  • Keyword and header optimization throughout

  • Multiple suggestions for titles

  • A strong thesis statement

  • A clear call to action

  • Two rounds of revisions

Step 5. Get You a Finished Piece

As a writer, I believe that pieces are truly written in revision. Especially at the beginning, I want to take the time to get your brand voice and style correct, so I appreciate any and all revisions. Ultimately, I want you to be satisfied with your finished piece, and revisions are how I learn and grow as a writer.

Let’s Work Together

Tell me what content marketing pain points you’re trying to solve and I’ll help you solve them.
