Thought Leadership Programs
For organizations, founders, executives, and subject-matter experts who need someone to turn valuable expertise into a clear, substantive, and sustained body of thought leadership.
I lead the work from strategy and idea development through interviews, synthesis, writing, and editorial production — creating publication-ready articles, reports, speeches, newsletters, LinkedIn content, podcasts, and other assets for your team to publish and distribute.
Thought leadership architecture • Editorial leadership • Writing
Does your expertise sound as distinctive as it actually is?
Your organization is full of expertise worth sharing: original research, hard-won experience, proprietary frameworks, industry insight, institutional knowledge, and perspectives that could shape conversations far beyond your immediate circle.
But expertise does not automatically become thought leadership.
Founders and executives may have years of experience but no clear platform for expressing what they believe. Subject-matter experts may possess deep knowledge but struggle to translate it for broader audiences. Organizations may publish articles, reports, talks, podcasts, and social content without a cohesive editorial direction connecting the work.
The problem is rarely the quality of the expertise.
It is how that expertise is being extracted, interpreted, framed, and developed into a sustained body of work.
You already have the raw materials: knowledge, judgment, research, stories, experience, and a perspective shaped by years inside your field.
What you may not have is someone responsible for identifying the strongest ideas, drawing them out of your leaders and experts, determining which formats best serve them, and turning them into polished, publication-ready thought leadership.
That’s where I come in.
My Approach
Your expertise may be stronger than the way it is currently being articulated.
Many founders, executives, and subject-matter experts have important ideas but limited time, structure, or editorial support for turning those ideas into public-facing thought leadership. They may have research, presentations, reports, interviews, frameworks, client conversations, internal documents, or years of professional experience — but no clear system for shaping that material into a coherent body of work.
Instead, valuable ideas remain scattered across meeting notes, slide decks, reports, podcasts, conference appearances, company materials, occasional articles, and one-off social posts.
Let’s get that expertise out of your head — or out of the documents, conversations, and institutional knowledge where it currently lives—and in front of the audiences who can learn from it, use it, support it, or be influenced by it.
Extract
We begin with direct access to the founders, executives, or experts whose ideas will drive the program.
Through interviews, research, and review of existing materials, I learn how they think: their experience, expertise, stories, frameworks, convictions, industry perspective, and the ideas they most want to be known for.
Interpret
I then interpret that expertise through the lens of the audience, organization, field, and larger conversation.
I identify what is most distinctive, relevant, credible, and worth developing: the arguments that clarify your point of view, the stories that make the ideas resonate, the frameworks that differentiate your work, and the opportunities to contribute something meaningful to the conversation.
Articulate
Finally, I turn that thinking into a clear editorial direction and polished thought leadership.
Depending on the program, that may include articles, reports, speeches, newsletters, LinkedIn content, podcast concepts, research-driven assets, messaging frameworks, or other publication-ready work.
I also establish the editorial systems that keep the program moving — from interviews and planning through drafting, review, approval, and handoff to your publishing or distribution team.
The Result
You receive:
a clearer articulation of the ideas, expertise, and point of view your leaders should be known for
a cohesive thought leadership strategy connected to your audience and organizational goals
stronger positioning and editorial direction
a sustainable pipeline of substantive ideas
polished, publication-ready thought leadership assets
a repeatable process for interviews, writing, review, and approval
clearer guidance on the formats and channels best suited to the work
and a more effective way to connect your expertise with the audiences you want to reach and influence
Work With Me
Thought Leadership Program
A senior-led engagement for organizations, founders, executives, and subject-matter experts who need someone to build and run the editorial side of their thought leadership program.
I lead the work from strategy and idea development through interviews, synthesis, writing, editing, and final publication-ready assets. Your internal marketing, communications, social, PR, or distribution team handles publishing, promotion, and channel management.
The Engagement
Thought leadership programs begin with an initial strategy and program-design phase, followed by ongoing editorial leadership and production.
Phase One: Build the Foundation
We begin by clarifying what the program needs to accomplish and identifying the ideas your leaders or experts should be known for.
This phase may include:
an intake and stakeholder questionnaire
review of existing articles, reports, speeches, presentations, interviews, social content, research, and other relevant materials
interviews with the primary executive, founder, or subject-matter expert
clarification of the audience, business goals, positioning, and distinctive point of view
identification of core themes, arguments, frameworks, stories, and editorial opportunities
recommendations for the formats and channels best suited to the ideas
development of an initial editorial roadmap
and creation of the interview, drafting, review, approval, and handoff process
Phase Two: Lead and Produce the Program
Once the foundation is established, I lead the ongoing development of the thought leadership.
Depending on the scope of the engagement, the work may include:
recurring executive or expert interviews
editorial planning and idea development
research and synthesis
articles, reports, speeches, newsletters, LinkedIn content, podcast concepts, or other agreed assets
adaptation of major ideas across multiple formats
editorial calendar management
writing, editing, and revision
coordination of feedback and approvals
and delivery of polished, publication-ready materials to your internal publishing or distribution team
A Strong Program Requires
Substantive thought leadership cannot be created at arm’s length. Clients must provide:
direct and recurring access to the leaders or experts whose ideas are being developed
relevant internal materials, research, stories, and context
one designated decision-maker
timely and consolidated feedback
an internal owner for publishing and distribution
and a genuine commitment to approving and sharing the work
The Result
You gain more than a collection of disconnected content pieces.
You gain:
a clearer and more differentiated thought leadership position
a sustainable pipeline of substantive ideas
a coherent body of work across the right formats
direct access to senior editorial judgment and writing expertise
a repeatable process that moves ideas from conversation to finished content
and someone responsible for keeping the editorial program focused, rigorous, and moving forward
Engagements begin at $5,000 per month with an initial three-month commitment. Scope and investment vary based on the number of experts, complexity of the subject matter, research requirements, and volume and type of assets.
Thought Leadership Positioning Critique
Not ready for a full thought leadership program? Start with a focused outside assessment of how clearly your expertise, ideas, and point of view are currently coming through.
I review a selected set of outward-facing materials—such as your website, executive bio, articles, reports, speeches, newsletters, LinkedIn content, podcast materials, or other relevant assets—and assess what your current thought leadership appears to stand for.
You’ll receive a detailed editorial strategy letter outlining:
what your current materials signal about your expertise and point of view;
which ideas and themes are already coming through clearly;
where your positioning feels generic, fragmented, or underdeveloped;
where strong expertise is being obscured by weak framing or inconsistent messaging;
which audiences the current work is most likely to resonate with;
what appears distinctive—and what does not yet;
which ideas deserve further development;
and what to clarify, strengthen, or prioritize next.
This engagement is best suited to founders, executives, experts, and organizations that already have a body of public-facing material but need a clearer view of what it adds up to—and how to develop it into stronger thought leadership.
Investment: Starting at $1,000.
Thought Leadership Strategy Session
A focused 60-minute working session for founders, executives, experts, and marketing leaders who need clarity on their thought leadership direction.
Using my Story and Systems framework, we’ll examine both sides of the program:
Story: the ideas, arguments, point of view, and narrative that make your expertise distinctive and worth paying attention to.
Systems: the editorial process for extracting those ideas, developing the right assets, and moving the work consistently from conversation to publication.
This session can help you identify:
which ideas you or your experts should be known for;
what is holding your current thought leadership back;
which formats and channels best fit your goals;
how to create a stronger interview, writing, review, and publishing process;
and what kind of program or support you need next.
You’ll leave with direct feedback, practical next steps, and a written follow-up summary.
Investment: $250.
